Interference mirror

The terminal mirror of a Helium-Neon laser cavity reflects almost 100% at the laser wavelength, but is semitransparent at other wavelengths.  Note: a laser will operate only of the terminal mirrors are more than 99% reflecting, but less than 100%, because then no light would leak out.
