Hologram |

A hologram is a photographic record of an interference pattern. Shining coherent light back through the hologram recreates an image of the objects that the original coherent light was scattered from. Sunlight is partly coherent - it is possible to view a 3D image created by a specially constructed white light hologram in sunlight. The ATM card people have used this technique for many years.  The small bird on the right is a white light hologram. |
