 All sodium salts and all nitrates are soluble. The high solubility of sodium nitrate is not surprising, but note the relative insensitivity to temperature of the solubility of NaCl. |
| Saturated ZnCl2 solution at 27°C has a density of ~1.8 g/cc. Higher densities may be possible with potassium iodide, and with calcium chloride at slightly elevated temperatures. There is a solution density calculator on the web. |
