Formatting

Most journals require a specific format for all papers published in the journal. The formatting will vary slightly from journal to journal. The formatting standards of the ISB Journal of Physics are as follows:

• Text Font: Times New Roman

• Font Sizes:

• Equations are centered, separated from the text and numbered in brackets on the right, as shown.

The equation for the period of a mass oscillating on a spring for damped and undamped motion is the same. The formula for the period is …     (Equation 1) … where m is the mass of the object oscillating and k is the spring constant (or force constant).

• Sources are noted with numbered superscripts referring to the references section. The references section is formatted in APA style, as described at http://www.liu.edu/cwis/cwp/library/workshop/citapa.htm.
